These tiles are authentic handcrafted ceramic tiles. These brilliant handcrafted 1.5" X 6" inch hand painted tiles will enhance any room with vivid colors that will never fade, are durable and easy to clean.
Tiles are individually hand picked for the best quality, so that colored glazes can penetrate deep into the tile and never fade. Special glazes are used to outline the design of the tile. Next, specific glaze colors are applied to each section of the tile. Then the tiles are put into a firing oven. The tiles are baked at 1060 degrees C. The whole baking and cooling process takes about 24 hours.
Since every tile is hand crafted, there will be some slight variances from tile to tile.
'To insure longevity of the designs, we stay fairly close to the classic tile patterns, sometimes adjusting the color slightly to fit today's market. A tile installation is relatively permanent, we want our product to transcend what is momentarily trendy. Our work will glow a hundred, two hundred, a thousand years from now just like the gorgeous work of the ancient Chinese and Persian artisans who's work motivates us daily.
We can produce and ship most jobs within 2-6 weeks, depending upon the size of job, or jobs we may have in progress. Some tiles we may have in stock.
The tiles design and the glazing are made in the USA, the Body (Clay) of the tile is imported, giving our customers the best quality possible, our tiles are frost resistant.
