Waterproofing band used to seal joints between two sheets of DURAL DURABASE-WP, where wall and floor meet, and between DURABASE-WP AND DURABASE-CI membranes.
This item is sold per roll. Each roll is approximately 5" wide and 16' - 5" long. This membrane may be used with high-quality modified/polymer/latex thinset for superior performance. It may also be used with unmodified thinset.
DURAL DURABASE-WP Band
Much like other branded products, DURAL DURABASE-WP BAND waterproofing seam strips are used to seal membrane joints from piece to piece and in corners of walls, floors and ceilings. Pre-cut and formed sections of DURAL DURABASE-WP are also available for inside and outside corners.

Sealing of walls
DURABASE-WP is used as a sealing layer for tiled walls. DURABASE-WP adheres firmly to a foundation and is easy to work with.
Sealing in regions subject to large quantities of moisture
Wherever moisture is present in greater amounts than is normal, DURABASE-WP is able to prove its outstanding sealing properties at the junction ofwalls and floors with a tiled covering.
Creating tiled surfaces that are resistant to acid
When used with epoxy-resin adhesive and suitable tiles DURABASE-WP can even be used to make floor surfaces that are resistant to acids, as specified for floors in the food industry, for example.
Use as a sealing strip
DURABASE-WP can also be used as a sealing strip for junctions where DURABASE-CI or DURABASE-WP are being used. Other applications include the sealing of junctions between walls and floors. An appropriate sealing adhesive also allows DURABASE-WP to provide sealing of junctions between combinations of flooring materials.
